On Wednesday, February 13, the Councilor of Digital Policy and Public Administration, Jordi Puigneró, visited Castellolí, accompanied by the secretary of Telecommunications, Cybersecurity and Digital Society David Ferra. The mayor and political delegate of the Business Investment Attraction Office of the Commonwealth of the Conca of Òdena, Joan Serra, has received them at Parcmotor circuit of Castellolí.
During the visit, the technological project and the investment that the company Cellnex Telecom is implementing in the equipment has been presented. Those responsible for the circuit have shown to the Councilor Puigneró the control center, as well as the various communication towers that will turn the Parcmotor circuit into a motor connectivity benchmark.
Once the visit to Parcmotor has finished, the Councilor visited the Castellolí Town Hall where, after signing the honorary book, a working meeting took place around the Anoia Connected Car project, an ambitious project to turn the territory into an ecosystem for connected and autonomous vehicles.
The visit of the Puigneró Councilor to Castellolí came just a few weeks after two great news for the municipality: the installation of FRIME frozen company and the arrival of the Catalan automotive company Doga to the industrial sector of Can Parera.
