From February 18th to 20th, the Business Investment Attraction Office of the Intermunicipal Commonwealth of the Conca of Òdena (MICOD) is participating in the mission of the Four Motors for Europe in the Netherlands. On this occasion, Baden-Württemberg, as the current chair of the Four Motors, has proposed this joint mission on mobility and lifescience & health.
The country where the meeting is located is one of the engines of innovation in the sectors of biotechnology, logistics and electronic mobility. Recently thanks to the involvement of different economic agents in the territory, they have developed a key ecosystem in green and intelligent mobility, as well as medtech.
Four Motors for Europe
The Four Motors for Europe is an interregional cooperation partnership between Catalonia, Baden-Württemberg (BW), Lombardy (Italy) and Auvergne-Rhone-Alps (AURA) with the aim of strengthening and increasing the economic, scientific, social and cultural rights of these territories, which are leaders in Europe in these fields.
The objective of the coalition is to strengthen competitiveness and cooperation in key sectors for the respective territories such as economics, information and communication technologies, research and innovation and the environment; exchange good practices in these sectors; develop common political positions to be presented to European institutions; organize joint events to share good practices and position themselves together on a specific topic, and promote the internationalization of territories and their companies.
